Wii are NOT Fit! (Plus some pics and a video of Mo...)

Okay, so I finally got around to opening my Wii Fit. DK and I went ahead and tried it out last night, and it was quite interesting -- I think I'm gonna like it. Before you do anything on the Wii Fit, you go through all these body tests where it weighs you, tests your balance, etc. Well, my balance is almost perfect! And that's the ONLY positive thing I learned about my body last night!! :) Here's the real-deal: I am overweight (slightly, but overweight, still). And get this: my Wii Fit age is 41 years old (15 years more than it should be)! Talk about a reality check! And I won't tell you all the other stuff -- like how on one of my first activities, my skill level was "couch potato." See, that would be too embarrassing to tell.

So, I'm on a mission. I plan to do some physical activity every day (the Wii Fit keeps up with all of that for you down to the minutes per day). And I downloaded this food diary on my phone that keeps up with my caloric intake as well as physical activity per day. And because I forgot to get tea and juice at the grocery store, all I had in my house last night was water. So I drank water with dinner, which is something I NEVER do. And you know what? It wasn't that bad. I think I'll keep doing it.

I'm definitely not going on a diet, and I'm not going to think about this 24 hours a day. But I hope to live a healthier lifestyle. My biggest hope is to pass on that healthy living to my daughter.

Speaking of her, here are a few pics from yesterday. And if you have a moment to chat with Morgan, open the video below. She'll tell you all about her day, listen to you for a moment, and then start back talking...

Have a good day!

Of all the things on this ExerSaucer, her absolute favorite piece is the stem and leaf on this apple. She grabs it, pulls it down, and eats it all the time.

More ExerSaucer Play.
