Celebrating 10 & 30!

Morgan turned 10 months today! Every day she's just becoming more independent. She doesn't like to be held very much -- all she wants to do is get on the floor and play, stand, dance, and all kinds of stuff. Remember my attempt of introducing meat into her diet by mixing the Gerber meats into the homemade foods? Well, that didn't go over so well, either. So to be sure she gets enough protein, last week I bought regular stage 3 baby food dinners. She's not too fond of them by themselves yet, but I mixed them with rice cereal and she eats them! So in the mornings she eats oatmeal (still her absolute favorite food ever!). For lunch (at daycare), she eats a homemade fruit and veggie mixture. Then for dinner, she eats rice cereal with 1/4 to 1/2 a jar of regular baby food. Yay for protein! She snacks on Yogurt Melts or puffs in the afternoons. Also, pretty soon she'll be on the meal plan at daycare -- so no more packing lunches. Makes me sorta sad. (She's in the Toddler I room now -- did I already tell you that?) And one more thing about my little 10-month-old...she has a little hair! Haha! I didn't realize how much her hair had grown until I looked back at some pics from just a couple of months ago. I hope it doesn't grow too fast 'cause Mama needs some time to prepare. I have no experience with little girls' hair!

Also, tonight Morgan took her daddy to dinner for his birthday, which was Friday (yep, that would make our birthdays four days apart). Danny turned the big 3-0! :) Firebirds is one of his favorite restaurants, so Morgan told him Friday morning that he needs to choose a day to go eat. Tonight was the night and we had a great time.

Here are some pics from this evening.

"Gosh, I wish Mama would put the camera away!"
Also my attempt to AutoEdit the coloring of these pics. I think it looks weird...

Enjoy the rest of your week!

I saw you said teeth in the pic but didn't see any and I didn't remember you posting about her having teeth!! Hey I think I am coming to the Hoover vs. Vestavia game so I can't wait to see you guys! Yeah I've heard those plain baby food meats are so terrible and everyone told me there kids wouldn't eat them so we just skipped to the meals w meat in them to.. anyway hope your having a good week!
