This has been an amazing year for us.  It was our first full year as the Kimble Krew (vs the Kimble Kouple -- ha).  I could go on FOREVER in this post, but I'll try to keep it as short and sweet as possible.

I personally had a great year.  I have watched myself transform from this awkward new mom to this seasoned mama.  Okay -- seasoned may be pushing it, but I feel like I've been doing this forever.  I have had the TIME OF MY LIFE!

DK had a great year.  Hoover won the state championship, and Alabama is playing for the national championship.  He's happy! :)  More importantly, though, I've seen him be an amazing father to our little girl.  It's so funny -- sometimes, he'll give ME directions on how to do things for her.  And I'm already starting to see his overprotectiveness of her.  It's so sweet.

And our little girl -- man, this time last year she was just a little newborn that ate, slept, pooped, and maybe cried every once in a while.  Now, OMG, she's this toddler that loves her independence and keeps me going!  One year doesn't seem like enough time for such a transformation!

So, what's in store for 2010?  I've never really been huge on the resolutions thing, but I do have a goal for this year.  Me...I am probably the biggest germaphobe you'll ever meet.  I nearly get sick to my stomach when I see people not wash their hands.  Or not wash their hands with soap.  But at the same time, I can guarantee you I'm probably the most UNORGANIZED person you'll ever meet.  Your typical germaphobe is probably a neat freak.  Well, not me.  Never have been.  Not even close.

So I only have ONE goal this year, and that's to be organized.  In all aspects of my life.  This will fix so much of the other stuff.  Being organized will save me time, which should open up time for exercise.  And to call and talk to my friends and family more often (not text and FB) and spend real time with them.  And to be a more thoughtful person.  And to just take better care of myself so that I can be a better wife and mother.  This goal to be more organized means so much to me because I know I have a daughter - and she's watching.  I am her first role model.

So that's what I'm aiming for this year.  It will take some work on my part ('cause I'm telling you, child, my brain doesn't even work in an organized manner), but I have prayed and will continue to ask for His help in doing this.

Obviously this is the last blog entry for 2009!  Thank you guys for reading our little blog.  It truly warms my heart to know that so many of you care enough to check it out every once in a while.  I encourage each and every one of you to start a blog -- blogs are for mamas, the single ladies, grandmothers, single parents, couples with children, those with no children -- they're for everybody!  And I know so many of you whose life would make for an awesome blog!  It is so therapeutic to keep a blog and so fun to share your thoughts and moments with others.  If/when you start one, let me know so I can add you to my Blog Roll!  I LOVE reading blogs of all kinds! :)

I pray that each of you have a blessed and prosperous year.  I want to leave you guys with something I love and something I know we could all stand to just read sometimes.  It's the way I's one of those things I pray for every day and most certainly want to take into the new year with me.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
