Amazing Weekend!

We had a GREAT weekend!  First, the Hoover Bucs WON the 6A State Championship on Friday night!  Yeeeeeaaaaah!!!  Prattville held the title three seasons in a row, but now the title is BACK where it belongs!  SO proud of the players, coaches, cheerleaders, and students at Hoover!

Mo w/her State Champs hat on.

Then Friday night after the game, we drove to Atlanta to be with the Tide, who of course won the SEC Championship the next day!  The funny thing about this is both Hoover AND Alabama LOST to these same teams last year in the same big games.  I guess it wasn't meant for us to have so much joy at once (since Morgan was born this weekend last year)!

A pic from Danny's phone...poor Tebow.  :-(

Celebrating Afterwards
(Mo was at the hotel w/her grandparents.)

Morgan and I didn't tailgate in the freezing weather.  Instead, we watched the game in my dad's WARM house! :)  It was so good to see them since we haven't seen them since late-summer.  And some of my stepmom's family was there, too, so we just ate and had a good time.  For Morgan to not see my dad very much, she really liked being with him!

Still a little sleepy after her nap...

With his first-born child and first-born grandchild.

And my friend, Tia, who also lives in Atlanta, came to my dad's to hang out, too!  It was so great seeing them, who we hadn't seen since early summer!  And she brought her beautiful kids that you KNOW I harassed with my camera (I actually took pics of more kids while over to my dad's, but I forgot to ask permission from the parents to post them to the blog)!  Tia's son and daughter, McTavious and Doria LOVED the camera and were so fun to take pictures of!

Tia, we still look like that pic from the yearbook!  Yeah, I'm laughing too, girl.  That was 10 years and three babies ago!

So we had a LOVELY weekend!!

Last, but not least -- someone turns ONE tomorrow!  More to come...

Have a wonderful week, everybody!

Edited to Add:  Pretty much anytime we travel somewhere, we're with my in-laws (Morgan's Honey, PaPa, and Auntie Ash).  But you RARELY see them on the blog!  Like me, they're not really too fond of having their picture taken. But that's going to have to change...pictures are memories, IN-LAWS, so get ready! :)
