Deck the Halls...

Edited to Add:

This is a post from early December, but I couldn't help but go back and add it to the Nester Christmas Tour of Homes!

Christmas Tour of Homes with The Nester

Got my little decorations up. Put up the tree and hung the stockings over the weekend and added the wreath and other little pieces this morning. Maybe next year I'll be brave enough to hang lights on the house (I have this weird fear that the lights will malfunction and the catch fire). I particularly love seeing white lights hung so neatly on houses -- SO pretty!

I hope everyone's having a great week!

Morgan's "1st Christmas" ornament (from last year...)  One of my former co-workers got this for her -- adorable.  I plan to get her a new one every year...guess I'll shop for a 2009 one this weekend.

Had to get Morgan a new stocking since her one from last year said "Baby's First Christmas"

Can't wait to burn this -- it's "Red Hot Cinnamon!"

I've had this Christmas moose for a few years, but I can't remember where I got him!  I think he's funny!

Gingerbread Cutie -- He's as soft as he looks!

I love these blocks!  They're a lot smaller than they appear on this pic.  They're no more than three or four inches tall.

Edited to Add:  I never reported on our Thanksgiving.  And I should have -- it was Morgan's first!  We had a nice time and some good food at Danny's Granny's.  My mom even surprised me by showing up (she'd originally planned to spend Thanksgiving in Atlanta).  Can you believe I didn't take pictures?!  Who doesn't take pictures on their kid's first Thanksgiving?!  Not only that, Morgan has a lot of adorable kid-cousins that I would have had a BALL taking pictures of!

Oh, well.  I'll make up for it at Christmas! :)
