Fun Phone Photos Part 1!

I love taking pictures with my regular camera, but I'll whip out my phone just as quickly.  It's the best "camera" to have when you just want to take a quick shot.  I literally have over 700 pictures on my phone, and I realized that I've shared very few of them on the blog (my memory book)!  If you follow me on Twitter, I'd say you've seen maybe half of these, but many of these pics have never seen the light of day! And going through them warms my heart because of how much Mo has grown. (There will be multiple parts to this post since Blogger only allows you to upload so many.)

I loved when she was bald!  Is that head not the biggest you've ever seen? :)

I think she was first starting to sit on her own on this pic.

She's loved the remote since I can remember.

I walked in her room one day to find this.  I thought the little head peeking up was so cute.

Watching her favorite video.  I'm not a fan of her watching TV, but I do let her watch My Baby Can Read.  My mom bought that for her when she was like four months old and I thought it was the best gift ever!  Until I saw HOW it taught reading -- it uses the whole-word approach, and I'm a firm believer that the best way to learn to read is the phonics approach.  So I'll never know if the program works because we don't use it in its entirety (it comes with flash cards, special books, etc.).  I let her watch the videos, though, because she absolutely LOVES them (and has since she was a younger baby).  And her expression on this pic is not an exaggeration.  She is totally infatuated with these videos and will sit there the entire 30 minutes and watch them.  She prefers them over regular kids TV -- like Nickelodeon and Disney -- and I'm totally okay with that.  I DO plan to use the books and flash cards when she starts learning to read, but will practice with her using the phonics approach. So I'm still very thankful that my mom got her the program because of the many resources that came with it.

This was back in the summer when she chewed on the bottom of her dress and left it soaking wet (I threw it in the dryer).

Dry and happy again.

Beach back in the summer.

Watching her video again.

And again.  She pretty much watches it every morning while I get ready.

Check out the Baby Legs.  We only had one pair, but we loved them.

First time in the grocery cart.  She loved it.

When she first learned to clap, she clapped ALL the time.  Actually, she still does.

First time in a restaurant high chair.  She danced and was so happy that whole night.

More pics on the next post!
