Nothing Much!

We haven't been up to much.  Last week we got some things fixed.  In the past two months, our hot water heater has broken, our garage door has broken, and two cars have gone out on us (the cars stopped working on the SAME morning - ha!).  Lucky for us, one of the cars only needed a battery.  But the other, the older car, needed a motor!  Yikes!  So after contemplating buying a new one (translation:  I had to talk my husband OUT of buying a new one), we decided to just buy the old one from Ashleigh and get the motor replaced.  It's a whole lot better than having a car payment, for sure.  Anyway, Danny got the car back and is just thrilled because it drives like new.  As far as all that stuff breaking down on us at pretty much the same time, I took it as God just reminding us how blessed we are.  Because we still had a house, heat, water, transportation, EACH OTHER, our health, etc.  Nothing like a bunch of small misfortunes to remind you of all the good in your life.

Morgan hasn't been up to much, either.  Just ALL OVER THE PLACE.  They just get so much funnier as they get older.

Here she is with the remote, which is still one of her favorite things to play with.  She will press the buttons until she sees the BrightHouse stuff come up on the TV.  Of course it's almost always when we're watching something (and it's at the good part)!

The look she gets when she's concentrating.  So funny.

Random Pics

She loves her some paper bowls.  Weird kid!

Yeah, she actually plays with regular toys sometimes.

By the way, we're still on the paci!

Not sure what she was crying about here (she wasn't hurt or anything -- just probably being impatient about something), but I had to take a picture.  Like I said, she just doesn't cry very much.  So anytime she does, I think it's a Kodak moment.  Bad mama, I know.

We got a chance to see Kendall yesterday.  She is SO cute!

They were both tugging at this toy -- so funny.

And look who ends up with it. Kendall is looking like, "Who is this chick coming up in MY house playing with MY toys?!"  Apparently Kendall runs the big kids at her school, so if she wasn't sick from teething, she would've given Mo a run for her money!

Look at this face!

Yep, that is a BOW in my child's head.

I didn't think a bow could fit on that little bit of hair, but Chic insisted that she could make one that would.  And it did!  She made Morgan a couple of bows and a bracelet with her initials.  Yep, Kendall's got a crafty mama.  (A mama who is about to be a mama again, by the way!  Kendall's having a little sister!)

Which added a little to my TINY inkling of baby fever I've recently experienced.  You see, I've been to a couple of showers in the past few weeks, and they kind of gave me the itch.  I got to thinking, "I've always wanted my kids close together...is it time?"  Then I come to my senses and say, "I can barely  manage with one kid -- how can I manage with two?"  Then I tell myself, "Well, you and DK aren't getting any younger..."  And then the conversation goes on and on and I usually end up saying to myself, "You must be crazy."  Ha!  Maybe we'll start considering #2 in a year or so...

Anyway, Morgan tried to kiss Kendall when we were leaving.  You really can't tell from the pic, but Kendall is considerably smaller than Mo (she's 10 months old).  So maybe Morgan thought she was a "baby."  I thought it was the cutest thing!  We enjoyed seeing them.  Mo got to see her Auntie Ash and Cousin Jasmin this weekend, too, so she was happy. :)

I hope you all are having a great week!
