In Granna's Garden

We went to Talladega earlier this week and got a chance to visit my grandma.  The name "Granna" comes from my niece, Carmelanie.  She was the first great-grandchild, and I think when she was really little, Granna was easier to say.  Now ALL of her great-grandchildren call her Granna (we've just always called her Grandma).

Anyway, I always like taking Morgan to see her.  They play outside, and Morgan has Grandma all over the place.

They went to the side of the house to pick a rose.

They went across the street to see a cat Morgan had spotted (it ran away).

(Coming back after missing the cat.)

They sat down and played horsey on Grandma's knee (which didn't last long -- she wanted to get down).

"I love you, Granna, but I've got to go! I'm OUTSIDE!"

They were in Grandma's little garden picking cucumbers.

So sweet.  I've got be sure I let Morgan stay a night down there before school starts back.  They have a ball together.

Have a great weekend, everybody!
