Another Spring Break Day - Kids Museum & The Park

M loves the children's science museum in our area, and we love taking her.  Especially in the summer when it's too hot to stay outside all day. We even had her birthday party there back in December.

She loved it no less this time.  She was a little disappointed that the train exhibit was gone, and that Santa's reindeer were no longer there, but she found plenty of other things to do. The next traveling exhibit to come is Dora and Diego.  She's gonna LOVE that.

Since it was such a pleasant day (breezy and not too hot), we hopped right over to the railroad park that was just a block or two away.  I don't think we've been since my dad, stepmom, and sisters were here back in May.  Between then and now she has become obsessed with trains, so she has a new appreciation for this particular park. We didn't even go to the playground area.  We just watched the trains go by, watched the planes in the sky, and chased her up and down the hill area.  It was a perfect park day.

Someone got new shoes yesterday, too.  We always try to remember to take waterproof shoes to the museum because M loves the exhibits that involve water. Since her last pair of waterproofs no longer fit, we had to grab some on the way.  She loves 'em.  And I love that even though they're Crocs (which her daddy wanted her to have), they're also girly. :)

These hills reminded me just how out of shape I am.  This was Daddy's turn!

It was a sweet day with my sweet girl.

Camping, the beach, the zoo, and the museum -- I think we've had enough for one spring break.  We're gonna rest up for the next few days and try to get this schedule back on track.  Regularly scheduled naptimes and bedtimes again.  'Cause missing naps is making my already-typical three-year-old a little crazier.

We'll be doing some things around the house -- crafting, reading, watching TV, cleaning, organizing, and making sure M gets her daily nap.  It's supposed to rain over the next few days, so that should make staying inside easy.  I love rainy days at home.

Anyway, hope you're having a great week.  We did a somewhat unseasonal activity today that involves lots of sweet stuff.  I'll post about it tomorrow.

Have a good one!
