My Blog is Not Dead :-)

Hey, y'all!  Clearly I've gotten a little too comfortable with letting my blog go a little longer than usual for an update.  Two months -- wow! I never planned to go that long, but life kinda gets in the way sometimes.  But I'm back to tell a lot of what happened during that time through these posts:
  1. Spring Break and Time with Family
  2. Easter Egg Hunts
  3. My Hair
  4. Spring Pics
  5. A Trip to LA
In between all of that (and despite the fact that I hadn't blogged at all), I still take tons of every day pictures of M.  Let's not talk about how my iCloud storage is outta control (too many pics and videos)!

Here's a little bit of our every day:

As soon as the weather showed signs of spring, we darted outdoors.  Parks.

Scooter rides through the neighborhood.

Bubbles and baseball in the yard.

Drawing on the driveway (I adore her little drawings).

A bird singing!  And her sweet little toes in the corner!

Acting silly, trying to block the picture. She has a mole on her lip, and this is a rare picture where you can actually see it.

More park fun.

When she's had a good week at school (we're still having social butterfly/talk-too-much issues), we take her to eat her favorite meal: orange chicken and noddles at the mall - ha!

We met up with my sister-in-law for dinner one Friday night.

And I got some of this. Apple Pie A La Cold Stone mix, of course. Best. Stuff. Ever.

She's still obsessed with reading and is doing so well. I can't wait to do the summer reading program with her this year!

One day at our favorite chicken finger store.

Went to the children's museum a couple of times.

Ice cream in the park (played so hard that day she ripped her pants).

More park time after church one day.

There was face-painting in the park that day, too.

And this picture was from just last week.  She loves "colorful cookies" from the cookie store in the mall, so that's another treat she gets for having a great week at school.

So we've been good around here. Busy. Loving the spring, but not looking forward to the round of storms that's supposed to come through here this week.  I pray that all of you in the storm's path stay safe.  We are as prepared as we can be around here.

Love you all, and hope that life is being good to you! Maybe I'll post again before summer. ;-) But until then, check out my other posts of what we've been up to (links at the beginning of this post).
